Over the decades, retailLAB has built up a strong reputation with retailers and brands all over the world, and has been working on some Great and sometimes extraordinary retail adventures.


Hans made a hobby out of his profession. In the last 44 years he has been involved in many interesting retail projects and laid the foundation for a very diverse range of store concepts all over America and Europe. In Japan he took part in the development of the biggest retail project of the 80s: a 40.000 m2 mega store right in the hart of Tokyo.

We rarely look back.. For once we opened our databases and old files, and hope you like some of our key visuals of these golden retail times... Thanks to all the Back Up people and designers who made this retail travel in Time happen.
